Shoulder exercises

Name of exercise:    STANDING SHRUG MACHINE
Start Position Finish Position
What to do:

Stand between the handles of the standing shrug machine.  Lift the handles so that your arms are hanging to your side.  Using only your shoulder and neck muscles lift the rack as high as you can.  Hold the contraction at the top for a split second before bring the weight back down.  Exhale on the way  up and inhale as you bring the weight back down.

Don't Forget to: Keep the arms straight.  Don't lift from the arms, only use the shoulder and neck muscles.
Equipment needed: Standing shrug machine.
