Shoulder exercises

Name of exercise:    SEATED SHRUG MACHINE
Start Position Finish Position
What to do: Sit down on a seated shrug machine.  Grab on to the handles.  Using only your shoulder and neck muscles lift your shoulders as high as you can.  Hold the contraction for a second on the top.  Slowly bring the weights back down and continue.  Exhale up and inhale on the way down.
Don't Forget to: Don't bend at the elbows as you bring the weights up.  In other words don't use your arms to lift the weights.
Equipment needed: Seated shrug machine.
Muscles worked: Shoulders and trapezius.
