Name of exercise:    PUSH UPS

What to do:

This is an oldie but a goodie.  Get down on the floor and spread your hands a few inches wider than shoulder width apart.  Push off the floor extending your arms and then come back down to the floor.  Exhale on the way up and inhale on the way down.

Don't Forget to: Use control.  If regular push ups are too difficult then do them from your knees until you are strong enough to do them from your feet.
Equipment needed: A floor and an optional mat.
Muscles worked: Mostly chest.  Also some arms and front shoulder.
