Arm exercises |
| Name of exercise: TRICEPS PUSH DOWNS WITH ROPE | |||||
| Start Position | Finish Position | ||||
| What to do: | Attach a rope to a cable pulley and make sure it is high over your head. Grab each end of the knobs of the rope and bring your elbows forward with your hands spread apart. Using the elbows as your pivot point push the rope all the way down until the arms are fully extended and then bring the rope back up being careful not to lift the elbows as you do so. | ||||
| Don't Forget to: | Keep those elbows still. They simply act like the hinge of a door. Make sure you bring your hands all the way up and all the way down in a full range of motion. Don't flick your wrists on the bottom. Make sure you keep about 8-10 inches space between your hands as you perform the exercise. | ||||
| Equipment needed: | Cable pulley machine, rope. | ||||
| Muscles worked: | Triceps, extensors of the forearm. | ||||
