Abdominal exercises

Name of exercise:    SUPER ABS: KNEE RAISES
Start Position Finish Position
What to do: Attach two super abs (hanging straps) to a pull up bar or pull up handles.  Step up on a block or bench and put your arms all the way through the straps so you are supporting your weight with your upper arms.  Step off of the block or bench and lift your knees up into your mid section.  To work the sides of your abs mix up your repetitions by turning your knees to the left or to the right as your bring them up.  Exhale on the way up and inhale on the way back down.
Don't Forget to: Ideally perform this exercise with a partner.  Have them hold your lower back so you don't swing back and forth.  When you com back down don't let your legs come all the way back down to where you lose the tension in your abdominal muscles. 
Equipment needed: Super abs straps (hanging straps) and something to stand on to get in position.
Muscles worked: Abdominal muscles, especially the lower abs.
