Abdominal exercises

Name of exercise:    MEDICINE BALL LIFTS
Start Position
Finish Position
What to do:

Lay down flat on your back.  Take a medicine ball and hold it straight over your body.  (this particular medicine ball weighs 12 pounds.)  Lift the ball strait up in the air keeping the arms fully extended.  Exhale on the way up and inhale on the way back down.

Don't Forget to: Make sure you arms are straight up and you are not holding the ball over your abdominal muscles for example.  Keep it straight over head.
Equipment needed: medicine ball.
Muscles worked: Abdominal muscles.
