Abdominal exercises

Name of exercise:    MEDICINE BALL CRUNCHES
Start Position
Finish Position
What to do:

Lay flat on your back and bring your knees up.  Place a medicine ball between your knees and squeeze it as tight as you can so it will stay there.  Support your head with a towel and simultaneously lift your knees (and therefore the medicine ball) and bring your shoulder blades off of the ground doing a crunch.  Exhale on the way up and inhale on the way down.

Don't Forget to: Go slow and use control.  Don't let your feet or your upper back to touch the ground throughout the entire set.
Equipment needed: Medicine ball
Muscles worked: Abdominal muscles.
